Inside
Light – With more than 40 windows and skylights the natural light in the house is always changing and intriguing. And once the sun sets our handmade lamps take over and creates an atmosphere designed for calm and good conversations.
Beds – In the four bedrooms the beds had no legs and seams to float in mid-air, but in fact they rest on a small concrete wall that rises from the floor, making cleaning and baggage-storage easy. One room has an extra TV build into the wall.
Bath – In the three bathrooms nothing is standard. The colored reinforced glass almost three meter high, ending in large skylights, make showering an unusual experience. The master bathroom is equipped with a dush-toilet, bathtub, art and handmade sink and lamps.
Living – In the center of the house the four meter long handmade solid oak-table creates the base for dining, talking, creativity and maybe contemplation. Above hoovers a lamp made by artist Sally Santana, with references to kayaks from Greenland.
Relaxing – the large u-shaped leather couch is build into what we call the Cigarbox. From here the views are many; the national park, the fireplace, the open kitchen or you can slide the oak-blind to the side and it reveals one of the two televisions in the house.
Cooking – under the big circular skylight the powder-colored linoleum kitchen table reflects the northern light and creates a warm and including atmosphere and makes cooking a social event. The kitchen is top-of-the-line fully equipped.
